He was able to map 12 of these places scattered all over the world.īut the weird thing is, 6 of them lie almost perfectly in the line above the Equator, and the same goes for the 6 below it. What caught his attention the most was where the strangest unexplained things kept happening. He’s the one who coined the term Vile Vortices in the first place! During his travels, he’d often record his experiences. He was a writer, a biologist, and a huge fan of the paranormal and inexplicable back in the ‘50s and ‘60s. I’m not just talking about the one and only Bermuda Triangle – it’s got a whole Motley crew of at least 11 other Vile Vortices.
